      <image:caption>Our purpose is to produce high quality specialty coffee that not only brings joy to our customers but also allows our farmers and their land to thrive. Through direct-trade we reinvest profits into communities that desperately need development in education, health care and infrastructure. We see our customers and our farmers as real people connected through the story of coffee who both invest in one another‘s quality of life. Because we love people who love people and love coffee.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Values - Excellence.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We believe that success is no accident. Every member of our team, every part of the process, and every newly gained insight matters in meeting the standards of high quality specialty coffee. That’s why we consistently invest in optimizing our coffee processes, developing our expertise, and growing our global network. Be it picking, drying, sorting, evaluating or communicating, our company is committed to doing it with diligence and assiduity.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Values - Empathy.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We believe that caring for and listening to the people we work with, is crucial in doing our work well. We are eager to hear and learn from our farmers as well as our partners around the world as they share their needs and professional insights with us. We seek to develop our sensitivity to perceive and our capacity to meet our farmers’ and their communities’ needs as they are often among the most vulnerable and marginalized. Their physical, mental and spiritual well-being matter to us. If they are well, we as a company are well.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Values - Empowerment.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We believe that the way we run our business can truly empower those we connect with. Direct trade allows us to pay our farmers a living wage rather than a subsistence wage which ensures their financial stability and self-sustainability. By doing so we give dignity and open new possibilities for the farmer and their families. As our business grows, we seek to empower not only our employees but also the different local coffee associations we are connected with. By investing in and enjoying our specialty coffee, our customers take part in shaping these stories of community transformation.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Values - Environment.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We believe that the land we farm on deserves to be treated with respect and care. We love seeing our coffee plants thrive under the shade of the ancient Myanmar forests as gibbons howl in the tree tops and Hornbills find a resting place. We have chosen to use sustainable farming methods and find natural solutions for our farms through organic fertilizers and the inclusion of nitrogen rich trees.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Values - Ethical Leadership.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We believe that running a business is not just about profitability but comes with social and environmental responsibility. As a company we set high standards for ourselves. That’s why our training is not only focused on coffee, but also on moral and ethical skills. Our hope is that our farmers and leaders will in turn pass on and live out our standards of integrity, open communication, trusting relationships and financial transparency.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Coffee - Our Farms.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are currently working with 70 smallholder farmers located in Myanmar’s Magway state, bordering Rakhine State, at an elevation of over 1,200masl. We choose to use agro-farming techniques that keep the ancient forests in tact while simultaneously providing shade for our coffee trees. The soil is measured to be at PH7, and the surrounding forests help maintain the soil’s nitrogen level and other nutrients. We only use organic fertilizer to keep our soil healthy, and do not use pesticides on our trees. We farm the Catimor varietal of Arabica coffee. When it comes to harvest, our farmers only pick ripe cherries which ensures the best flavor. This is more labor intensive and means trees are harvested several times in a season.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e932eafea41e51dc7186676/t/5e95bcbae0ad340d44ae1547/1586871497314/DSCF3808.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Our Coffee - Our Processes.</image:title>
      <image:caption>The farmers bring their cherries to our central mill on the same day that they are harvested. The cherries are immediately weighed and the farmer then receives his wages. After weighing we float the cherries in a tank of water. Here the under ripe cherries are easily removed since all the cherries with the proper density sink. From the tank our cherries are spread out on raised drying beds where they are carefully sorted, and slowly dried to the optimal measurement of 10-12% moisture content. When the cherries are dried they are sent to the hulling machine where the fruit is mechanically removed from the bean. At this point the coffee is again hand sorted to remove any defect, leaving only the absolute best of the crop to be exported. While the harvest is completed and while the cherries are being shipped we use GrainPro bags which ensure freshness, and keep the beans from deteriorating until they arrive at the roaster. Currently, we are only offering the highest quality natural/dry processed coffee for export. As a new specialty coffee company we have also been exploring our capacity to produce washed and honey processed coffees.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Coffee - Our Partnerships.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We aim to work with exceptional coffee roasters around the globe who take as much pride in their craft as our farmers do. We are interested in partnerships that help tell the stories of our farmers, and give you a coffee that brings you joy. From the mountaintop forests of Myanmar, to your cup, we hope you will taste the difference in your coffee. If you would like to know more about how our coffee is processed, receive a sample of green beans, or discuss what a partnership could look like, please do not hesitate to contact us.</image:caption>
